The Fund for Our Economic Future is responsible for convening the partners in Advance Northeast Ohio to make sure progress is being made on the initiatives that make up Advance Northeast Ohio.
Working with the partners in the public and private sector is a full-time job and that's why the Fund has named Brad Whitehead as its full-time president. Brad had been serving in the role of president since last fall, however he still had responsibilities with the Cleveland Foundation. Because of the growing responsibilities with implementing Advance Northeast Ohio, Brad is now devoting 100% of his time to the Fund's work.
Here's a quote from the press release:
“I am very thankful to the Cleveland Foundation for providing me with the opportunity to work on economic development opportunities both in the City of Cleveland and throughout Northeast Ohio,” Whitehead said. “One of the lessons I learned during my time with the Foundation is the importance of regional economic development to the overall health of the City of Cleveland. I look forward to focusing 100 percent of my energy on regional issues with the Fund.”
I'm going to try to get Brad to post here himself before he heads out of town next week.
