125 New Jobs Brought to the Region

The regions ever expanding technical capabilities, combined with its dedicated workforce, have brought Collectcorp, a a privately owned and operated global accounts receivable and call center management company, to Northeast Ohio.

Thanks in part to the business attraction efforts of our partner in Advance Northeast Ohio, Team NEO, Collectcorp will be opening a new call center facility in Middleburg Heights this July. The center will bring 125 new jobs with a minimum annual payroll of $3.1 million.

The firm chose Northeast Ohio in large part because of the quality and availability of workforce and ease of doing business.

Collectcorp Selects Northeast Ohio for Expansion

Call Center Management Company to Bring 125 Jobs to Region

 

Cleveland, OH, May 5, 2009 – Collectcorp, a privately owned and operated global accounts receivable and call center management company, announced that they will expand their operations by opening a new call center facility in Middleburg Heights, Ohio this July. The new location is expected to employ 125 people with a minimum annual payroll of $3.1 million.

 

“The increase of our US-based client business has increased our capacity needs,” said Mr. Nicholas Wilson, Chairman and CEO of Collectcorp. The company, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, just completed the opening of its third call center, located near Toronto. The company also has locations in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and Hobart, Australia.

 

The company considered many regions for this expansion according to Collectcorp. The firm chose Northeast Ohio in large part because of the quality and availability of workforce and ease of doing business.  The company chose Middleburg Heights because of its strategic location with access to muliple highways and the Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

 

“Northeast Ohio has one of the nation’s best fiber optic networks,” said Tom Waltermire CEO of Team Northeast Ohio.  “This, coupled with our technical capabilities, and our talented and dedicated workforce, makes our region attractive for call centers.”

 

Collectcorp worked with a collaborative economic development team to secure its Northeast Ohio location decision, including the State of Ohio, the City of Middleburg Heights, and Team NEO.

The company expects the new call center to open to by mid-July and intends to employ the majority of account representatives by the end of 2010.
