Yes we need to change the county governement. We need new blood!! That is held accountable by the people. We also need changes in city government. If the second largest city in the United States (Los Angeles) has only 9 council leaders than we can certainly trim the fat from our ranks. Think about how much money that would save us. If elected leaders can't handle what the position would require than we should put people in office who can handle the job. Do we even have job descriptions for these offices? If someone running for election does not have the experience to do the job, why are we putting people in office? We should also have the people keep them accountable as well.
While I think that Cuyahoga county government needs to be reformed, I am not convinced that the best plan has been proposed and adequately discussed to date.
